How to bulk create and update Neto discounts with a CSV

A long promotion should not mean entering every discount by hand. Prepare the changes in a CSV, check them together, then create or update the discounts in Neto.

The short answer

Neto Bulk Discount Importer creates discounts from a CSV. It also exports existing discounts and updates them using coupon_id. It works through your current logged-in Neto cpanel session, with no separate API key.

Existing rows retain their coupon_id when updated. New discounts are prepared as new rows. Use the full field reference for the rules your store needs.

Choose the right starting point

Creating a campaign and changing an existing one need slightly different CSVs. Start with the route that matches your job.

Creating new discounts

Start with the sample CSV and field reference. Add the discount title, code, dates and any product or customer conditions you need.

New offer → new CSV row

Updating existing discounts

Export from the extension, make the changes in the CSV and keep coupon_id on each row you want to update.

Existing offer → keep coupon_id

A safer way to run the import

↗

Connect your store

Sign in to Neto cpanel, save your store URL in the extension and refresh the session token.

✓

Check the CSV

Review the codes, dates, amounts, conditions and any existing coupon_id values. Begin with a small test batch.

↺

Verify in Neto

Read any import errors, inspect the affected discounts and test a representative offer in your storefront.

Before you import

A quick review here can save a lot of cleanup later.

  • You are signed in to the correct Neto store.
  • The CSV columns match the field reference.
  • Existing discounts retain the correct coupon_id.
  • Your test offer behaves as expected at checkout.

Common questions

Can I update discounts already in my store?

Yes. Export them, edit the CSV and retain coupon_id on each row you want to update. Import a small sample first, then check the changes in Neto.

Do I need an API key?

No. The extension uses your current logged-in Neto cpanel session. You do not need to create a separate API key.

Can I use more than basic coupon codes?

Yes. The CSV field reference covers product, category, quantity, customer group, subtotal and shipping conditions. Test complex combinations in your store before using them in a large campaign.

What if an import fails?

Read the error message, then compare the CSV column names and values with the field reference. Retry with a small file. If you are still stuck, email support@iteeconsultancy.com.au without sending store credentials or customer data.

Ready to work in bulk?

Get the extension, then use the product page for the current setup steps, sample CSV and complete field reference.
